PLAYGROUND PALS
RAN FOR THE CHILDREN BY THE CHILDREN
Pupils are happy and feel very safe within school. They report that adults are always there to help and support them. The introduction of playground pals has helped to engage pupils in meaningful play activities during break and lunch times. T&L Review, Leaders4Learning Ltd., June 2014.
Playground pals is a play scheme that enables children to have positive experiences on the playground.
The playground pals job is to create a warm, friendly and fun environment for the children to play in.
How do I get to be a playground pal?
If you want to be a playground pal you need to write a letter to Mrs Spurling explaining why you want to do this and what you think you would be able to contribute.
What happens next?
If you are chosen you will be given a contract which explains your responsibilities and duties, once you have read and signed this you are given your playground pal hat and after a week of training well done you are now a playground pal!
